Airsec brought a wealth of professionalism and experience to the Midlands Air Festival 2023. With a team of highly trained and skilled security professionals, they demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with large-scale events and Airshows. Drawing on our extensive experience, we implemented robust security measures to mitigate risks, ensuring the safety and well-being of all festival-goers.

Months before the Midlands Air Festival took off, we were diligently working behind the scenes to develop a comprehensive security plan. Collaborating closely with event organizers, local authorities, and stakeholders, we conducted thorough risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities and devising effective strategies to address them. By focusing on proactive planning, our team positioned themselves to effectively handle any security-related scenarios that might arise during the event.

As thousands of aviation enthusiasts flocked to the Midlands Air Festival, Airsec Security’s risk mitigation strategies and crowd management expertise were put to the test. Our security personnel were strategically positioned throughout the event site, ensuring a visible presence and facilitating the smooth flow of attendees. Through effective crowd management techniques, we maintained order, minimized congestion, and swiftly responded to any security concerns that arose.

Bristol Life Awards success for Airsec venues!

Whilst working at Ashton Gate Stadium for the Bristol Life Awards last Thursday some of our staff got to celebrate both Propyard and Wake The Tiger winning awards!

Propyard was the winner of the ‘Events’ category and this is what the judges had to say about them…

Cleverly transformed the former MOD torpedo testing warehouse to create big and bold experiences, from summer socials to art workshops, all the way to the outstanding Van Gogh Immersion.”

Airsec is proud to have partnered with Propyard since they opened keeping their venue and events safe for all walks of life to come and enjoy, from looking after 4000-capacity Boiler Room events right through to the Van Gough Immersive Experience and the Winterland Ice Rink together we have been there for it all and have enjoyed watching this business grow into what it is today. Since opening Propyard has benefitted from many of our services including Static Guards, Event Security, Door Supervisors, Dog Handlers, and Customer Welfare Staff.

Wake The Tiger received the ‘Tourism’ and ‘Platinum’ award making them the overall winner of the ceremony, this is what the judges had to say about them…

“Simply put, Wake the Tiger is a once-in-a-generation artistic masterpiece. Flair, imagination, ambition, reach, just stunning! 27 creative environments from 57 countries. Sustainable, disruptive, and daring beyond the impossible – very Bristol!”

Similarly, Airsec has been in partnership with Wake The Tiger from the very beginning. They have had a member of our team on the door every day since opening, assisting with anything from First Aid and lost children to welfare for over intoxication and ejections. We have an excellent relationship with the venue and have provided Door Supervisors for events, Static Guards, and Alarm Response during our partnership.

Here’s what our Director had to say about them…

“I know you shouldn’t have favorites in business but Wake The Tiger make this very difficult. The level of innovation and character this venue has is second to none and the team behind the scenes are absolutely spectacular. The last six months working with and growing with this business have been very enjoyable and I can’t think of a more deserving venue to win these awards!”
